History of Shunga

It all began in Montreal, in 1988, when Sylvain Séguin, creator/designer, partnered with Manon Vallée, ideas manager/cosmetician. They decided to launch their high-end cosmetics company, Eau Zone Huiles & Fragrances. Their very first collection was praised and distributed in several countries, prompting their business to expand rapidly. Twelve successful years followed, until 2000, when the couple decided to launch an innovative new brand of intimate cosmetics: SHUNGA Erotic Art. Created with the idea in mind that making love is an art, the SHUNGA Erotic Art products were, and are today, designed for couples.
Our distinctive packaging is covered in art. Shunga and their design adds a touch of eroticism and elegance.
